If you want to try your hand at surfing while vacationing in Clearwater but aren't quite sure if you have the skills necessary, or the gear, head to Surf Style!
Surf Style is the leading beachwear and souvenir shopping destination in Clearwater, with stores all across the Florida panhandle, Alabama, and Mississippi. You can find apparel, swimwear, accessories, footwear, jewelry, and souvenirs at these stores. The store here in Clearwater is special, however, because it is the first 'megastore' built by the company, supporting 2 full floors of shopping, an onsite skate shop, a 44 foot Guy Harvey Mural, an onsite convenience shop, and perhaps most importantly, the FlowRider indoor surf machine.
FlowRider is the perfect attraction for thrill seekers of all ages, a surfing experience fuelled by a jet-propelled sheet of water. This is a good experience for any skill level, beginners to pros, allowing newbies to experience the rush of surfing without the danger and allowing pros to hone in on some skills they haven't been able to master yet.
Groups of up to 20 can enjoy this experience in a 'party setting', and up to 8 riders can go at one time. The sessions are 30 minutes long each, and of course, you will watch a safety video beforehand and have an instructor nearby at all times!
