The library was designed to reflect Billy Graham’s journey from a humble farm boy to his present life as an ambassador of God’s love. Graham has enthralled millions with his sermons for many years and in the course of the visit, you can enjoy the tranquil environment in the Memorial Prayer Garden, look at items in the Ruth Attic Bookstore, walk around the Graham family home place, and eat delicious cuisine at the Dairy Bar.
Guests can take a journey of faith and retrace Billy Graham’s dynamic journey. You will learn through interactive kiosks, spectacular multimedia presentations, photos, and memorabilia. The Billy Graham Homeplace is the location where Billy Graham resided from the age of nine until he went to college. Visitors will take an intimate look into Graham’s roots. You will see original furniture and fascinating memorabilia. The structure is a two story colonial style brick home. It has been meticulously restored using 80 percent of the original materials.
The Memorial Prayer Garden is an area where you can enjoy some fresh air and take in the amazing view of the surrounding landscape. This location is the final resting place of George Beverly Shea, Ruth Bell Graham, and Billy Barows. George Shea was a member of the Billy Graham Crusade. Billy Barows was a pianist during the early years of the crusade and the wife of Cliff Barows. The garden is the location that offers the best views of the landscape.
The Graham Brothers Dairy Bar serves food and beverages for you to enjoy. They have fresh sandwiches, salads, cookies, ice cream, and beverages. Lunch is provided for motor coach drivers and escorts when a group has lunch reservations.
