The live shows in Branson are second to none, as is the music of the Dutton Family. This is a wonderful show to see with the whole family or with a large group with differing tastes. Including something for everyone, the Duttons have an incredible range from bluegrass and country music to rock, oldies, or even classical music. The nine performers make up a family of two parents, Dean and Sheila, and their seven children. This family affair sometimes includes even the youngest of the Duttons. The siblings’ children often interject their talents and humor in the show
making it an even more enjoyable performance. Music and family define this unique ensemble. The group produces and performs their show in their own theater to ensure that everything is done to their standards. The theater, seating 862, is more than comfortable enough to seat the whole group and the meeting lobby is a great meeting place before and after the show to meet the Duttons.
This show is not just music but also comedy, audience participation, and specialty routines. However, it certainly comes back to the music, the central talent and binding glue of this amazing family. Dean Dutton left a job in academics to help his children pursue their dream of being a family of musicians and both parents learned to use the instruments to make this a reality. After their public debut on the NBC’s America’s Got Talent in 2007, their talent was made known nationwide and they now own their theater in Branson and show over 300 performances there every
year. If, after you see their show, you are still craving more Dutton Family entertainment, they also own and operate the Dutton Hotel and restaurant nearby to complete the experience. Your whole group, whether it’s a birthday party, a church group, or corporate retreat, will be amazed and left wanting more.
