Denver Downtown Aquarium
While your adult group is visiting Denver, you should stop by the Denver Downtown Aquarium. Visitors can check out over a million gallons of underwater exhibits. The exhibits highlight fascinating ecosystems around the world. The location houses over 500 species of animals.
The exhibits at the Denver Downtown Aquarium are both interactive and entertaining. In the Desert exhibit houses animals who have adapted to the dryness, extreme temperatures and a lack of shelter from the sun. Deserts receive about 10 inches of rain per year. Another exhibit is known as the Under the Sea exhibit. Group members will see an exhibit that is a simulation of the coral reef found just offshore in many seas. The reef is rich in caves and crevices which create excellent habitats. The Sunken Temple Exhibit is an area where visitors can learn about the different temples from various cultures that have survived the ages. The ancient ruins and temples are an amazing mystery.
The group can participate in fun adventures and activities as part of the experience. Group members can have a Scuba and Snorkeling Adventure which is where you can get a closer look at the fish and sharks underwater. If you and your group mates enjoy the interaction with the animals, you can be a Zoologist for a day and see what happens behind the scenes at the Denver Downtown Aquarium. You will examine the impressive species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and tigers. Guests of all ages will have a great time checking out the animals at this popular attraction.
