The Cleveland Orchestra is Northeastern Ohio’s most visible international ambassador and takes pride in its artistic excellence, creative programming, and active community engagement. The orchestra group itself began in 1918, as a fine regional organization and has since grown into one of the most admired symphony orchestras in the world. In 1931 Cleveland saw the birth of the orchestra’s home, Severance Hall. Severance Hall is an enviable and intimate acoustic environment in which the group develops and refines the orchestra’s artistry. It is mainly used during the fall and winter, as a new outdoor venue came about in 1968.
The 200-acre outdoor center is the Blossom Music Center and is considered one of the most beautiful and acoustically admired outdoor concert venues in the United States. Located near Cuyahoga National Park, Blossom Music Center provides the perfect summer experience for families, tourists, locals, and couples. Pack a picnic before heading out here or eat at the on-site Blossom Grille, featuring some of the finest food to pair with the fine music.
While visiting, your group will have the opportunity to see a family concert, a 60- minute narrated concert offered to guests after a walking tour of the building.
