Laugh Out Loud
Chicago has a rich history for comedy, jump-starting the careers of comedy greats like Tina Fey, Mike Myers, Amy Poehler, and Martin Short. Locals and tourists alike continue to support comedy clubs, bars, and theaters all over the city but nowhere can the audience participate as much as at the Laugh Out Loud Theater.
This popular improv comedy theater features four comedians a night from a selection of 30 successful, hilarious individuals. Set up in the style of Whose Line is it Anyway?, Laugh Out Loud improv performers take suggestions from the audience and turn it into comedy gold. Remember, the more you participate as an audience, the more fun it will be. Improv artists work off of audience suggestions so don’t be afraid to shout out what comes to mind, the stranger the suggestion the more entertaining the skit.
In the Streets of Woodfield district, located near the Legoland Discovery Center and the Woodfield Mall, Laugh Out Loud is in a convenient location for casual weekend entertainment. With a full kitchen and bar, with no minimum purchase requirement, you can watch the show while you munch on a cheeseburger or basket of popcorn.
Improv classes are offered for those of you who enjoyed the show so much you want to become a comedian yourself. Friday and Saturday showings at 7:30 are friendly for all ages while the 9:30 acts are strictly for adults.
