Lucky Bug Gallery
Welcome to the Lucky Bug Gallery, part of the larger Lucky Bug Bed and Breakfast. This complex houses five absolutely stunning and outdoors-oriented rooms, an on-site and very delicious restaurant, and an art gallery/gift shop! Your group will find this stop on the main road to Nuevo Arenal, a truly heavenly site between the city and Lake Arenal itself.
Lucky Bug is a family owned and professionally run business that is locally and internationally known for its perfectly landscaped grounds and various artistic touches throughout the property. Some people even claim that this is the best gift shop in the country! All throughout the B&B you will see handmade furniture, hand-painted tiles, and unique local art, all each quite impressive. Within the gallery and gift shop you will find a "host of creations made by your host family," a wide selection of fun, vibrant, and local treasures.
The on-site restaurant, Caballo Negro, serves the best selection of international vegetarian dishes with organic ingredients and specializes in various German favorites. Be sure to bring your camera with plenty of films so you don’t miss a second of the glorious lake backdrop, with unimpeded views of tropical birds such as toucans, aracaris, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers!
