Not going whale watching on a visit to Cape Cod should be considered a crime. These beautiful marine mammal giants are the gargantuan sirens of the deep, calling everyone to watch them break the surface and splash down in majesty. The Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises offer a magical whale watching experience for visitors of all ages. During the tour you are sure to encounter species such as humpbacks, finbacks, and minke whales as well as several species of dolphins in the waters surrounding the Cape.

Visitors will climb aboard the boat and be welcomed by a naturalist. Familiarize yourself with your new surroundings as the naturalist gives a brief orientation about the safety during the three and a half to four hour excursion. In the course of the experience, guests will travel to various areas on the way to the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, passing through areas including the Race Point Lighthouse and the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown.

The Provincetown Whale Watch also offers whale watching excursions in true Cape Cod fashion. During the tour you will have the opportunity to see various species of whales such as minke whales, humpback whales, right whales, and pilot whales. Guests may also catch sightings of dolphins, seals, and porpoises on the journey and also have the opportunity to learn about the whales and the town’s unique local history. The adventure will be unforgettable and educational for guests of all ages.
