St. Louis Walk of Fame
The Walk of Fame is a permanent series of plaques for the stars constructed on the University City Loop. Each star and plaque represents a different honoree. A person can be nominated by being born in St. Louis or spending their creative/formative years there AND had a national impact on the cultural heritage.
Day Two
Soulard Market and Neighborhood
Soulard is a diverse community and one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. The farmer’s market dates back to 1841.
Old Courthouse
The Old Courthouse was built between 1839 and 1862. The Old Courthouse has exhibits and murals. This is a historic place where Dred Scott sued for his freedom and Virginia Minor sued for women’s right to vote.
Gateway Arch
View this amazing monument from the ground or travel to the top for an amazing view of the city. The Gateway Arch is a must-see when in St. Louis.
Riverboat Cruises – Sightseeing & Dinner Cruise
Your captain will narrate your hour riverboat journey. Your group will learn about the Mississippi River from a National Park Service ranger that will be aboard. The captain will inform your group about the Riverfront, Gateway Arch, and other historic sites along the way. Set sail on the Tom Sawyer or Becky Thatcher riverboats!
