3 Day St. Louis Highlights Group Tour

Day One

The Gateway Arch
This 630-foot tall monument to President Thomas Jefferson and his vision of a continental United States is a St. Louis must with a tram ride to the top for a bird’s-eye view of the Mississippi River and beyond.

St. Louis Walk of Fame
Walk along the sidewalk of the University City Loop and enjoy the walk of fame of the midwest!  The brass stars and bronze plaques honor individuals from the St. Louis area have made contributions to our national heritage.

Missouri Botanical Garden
Considered one of the top three public gardens in the world and among the nation’s oldest public gardens, the Missouri Botanical Garden features 25 demonstration gardens.

Butterfly House
A three-story crystal palace filled with tropical foliage and up to 2,000 butterflies in free flight.

Enjoy a Gateway Riverboats Skyline Dinner Cruise along the mighty Mississippi River or dine at the Top of the Riverfront, a rotating restaurant atop the Millennium Hotel. Finish the evening with some live entertainment. Ask your travel coordinator for ideas.

Day Two

Saint Louis Art Museum
This famous institution is located in Forest Park and houses masterpieces and ancient artifacts from around the world. Its collection of modern art includes many outstanding examples of German Expressionist art. You’ll also see galleries filled with works by the French Impressionists and rooms featuring decorative arts and antiques.

Saint Louis Zoo
Perfect for families, this world-renowned leader in animal conservation is considered among the Top Ten Zoos in the nation and is noted for its naturalistic animal habitats.

Missouri History Museum
Where Lindbergh, Lewis & Clark, and the Louisiana Purchase come to life. You’ll see artifacts from Colonial St. Louis, the Lewis & Clark expedition, Civil War and the opening of the American West.

Saint Louis Science Center
Explore more than 700 hands-on exhibits and find out what it’s like to live and work in outer space. In addition to the state-of-the-art Boeing Space Station in the James S. McDonnell Planetarium, there’s a variety of offerings shown on the OMNIMAX big screen, a dark sky Planetarium show, and a number of traveling exhibits throughout the year.

Little Italy
The Hill: Little Italy is one of St. Louis’ best-known neighborhoods. The neighborhoods are kept clean, and impeccably maintained by homeowners who are proud of their community. The Hill is the proud home of baseball greats Joe DeGregorio, Yogi Beara, and 5 members of the U.S. Soccer Team who took home the historic upset in the 1950 World Cup.  Dine on The Hill, or trek to the region’s most eclectic neighborhood known as The Loop before you leave.

Day Three

Anheuser-Busch Brewery
Explore this world-famous brewery with a tour of the historic Brew House, Budweiser Clydesdale stables, lager cellar, packaging plant, hospitality room, and Anheuser-Busch gift shop.

Busch Stadium Tour
Take a guided tour and get a behind the scenes tour of one of baseball's greatest ballparks, Bush Stadium!

The City Museum
Taking the term “recycling” to dizzying new heights, this museum is the brainchild of local artists who created the museum from items such as old chimneys, salvaged bridges, construction cranes, miles of tile, and even a couple of abandoned airplanes. There are 4,000 square-feet of man-made caves and tunnels, an enchanted forest with sky tunnels, an aquarium, a working shoelace factory, daily circus performances and much more.
