Museum of Science and Industry
This in-depth science museum has hands-on activities, larger-than-life exhibits, and something to interest every member of your group.
Hancock Observatory Deck
One of the greatest thrills of visiting a new city the size of Chicago is to view it from above on one of its famous observation decks. The Hancock Building is one of Chicago’s landmarks, and a view from the top lets you take in the rest of Chicago’s brilliant cityscape.
Grant Park / Millennium Park
Grant Park is Chicago’s front yard and a part of its famous park district. It houses a world-class museum complex also included in this sample itinerary. Millennium Park is a modern addition to Grant. It includes the bean-shaped sculpture known as Cloud Gate that uniquely reflects Chicago’s skyline, the J. Pritzker Pavilion, and Crown Fountain.
Day Two
Adler Planetarium
Hundreds of exhibits showcase our solar system, ancient tools from the history of astronomy, and the wonders of the universe.
Field Museum
Another favorite Chicago attraction, the Field Museum is famous for Sue, the largest intact fossil of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Many other legendary mammals and favorite attractions fascinate visitors here.
Shedd Aquarium
Exploring the mysteries of the sea is always a favorite experience. Sharks, stingrays, performing dolphins, and seals – all of these and more fill the attractions at this world-class aquarium.
Day Three
Magnificent Mile
The beautiful walking tour on Michigan Avenue takes you by many of Chicago’s famous spots. There’s a variety of shopping and dining plus history like the Old Historic Water Tower.
Art Institute
This art gallery and educational center is a thrilling Chicago attraction. One famous exhibit is the Miniature Rooms in which visitors look through windows into dioramas of historic furnishings, architecture, and decor.
Navy Pier
Navy Pier is a Chicago treasure, an iconic cultural playground on the water. You’ll find museums, a Ferris wheel, restaurants, water sports, water cruises – like the famous architectural cruise – and much more to love and enjoy at Navy Pier.
