H20BX Waterpark
One option to start your weekend trip is here at H20BX Waterpark, the thrilling attraction that brings local history to life in 'a setting as scenic as thrilling'. Explore the Outer Banks of the past as you splash and slide around the Wright Brothers and pirate ships, with the expansive ocean to sound views and resort-style comfort to boot. There are over 30 attractions throughout the park, including favorites such as Queen Anne's Revenge, Wild Horse Run, Teache's Tides Adventure River, and the 5-story Rip Tide.

North Carolina Aquarium
Another option to kick it off is the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Here you can marvel at the largest group of sharks in the state, interact with scuba divers, pet a stingray, and much more. Check out exhibits such as Seven Rivers, Wild Wetlands, Sea Treasures, Sea Senses, Delicate Drifters, and more. There are plenty of free educator-led programs offered here as well, such as Behind the Scenes Tours and animal one on ones inside, and crabbing, fishing, and paddling outside.
The Lost Colony
End your night with one of the longest-running outdoor symphonic performances in the U.S., going into its 83rd season, The Lost Colony. The stage (Manteo's Waterside Theater) is 3 times as big as any NYC Broadway play, the performers using 3 sides of the audience as well as the aisles. Over 120 actors, technicians, designers, and volunteers come together to provide a unique combination of drama, song, and dance, the performance bringing 'music, laughter, romance, and dance'.

Outer Banks Beach Time
There are over 100 miles of shoreline in Dare County, all connected by the legendary coastal 2-lane highway, NC 12. You will find sand dunes, wild horses, and pristine coastline all along the Outer Banks, which is a true beach lovers paradise. We suggest hitting Corolla Beach and trying to catch a glimpse of the Wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs.
Corolla Adventure Park
Welcome to the Corolla Adventure Park, the 'giant jungle gym in the sky' that offers both challenge and fun for all ages! Any skill level is welcome here at Corolla, with over 66 different obstacles set up on 11 different circuits, allowing you to choose your own adventure as you go. There are also 8 zip lines onsite, so prepare for a seriously thrilling 2-hour climbing and gliding adventure!
